Cookie information
VoLCA limits cookies to the storage needed to operate the service and third-party content that you choose to load.
VoLCA cookies
| Name or category | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
session | Authenticates an account on app.volca.run and protects access to account and hosted-service functions. | Session cookie; the server-side session also expires or is invalidated on logout. | Strictly necessary; no prior consent required. |
| OAuth and security state | Completes a user-requested authentication or authorisation flow and protects it against forgery. | Short-lived and limited to the flow. | Strictly necessary; no prior consent required. |
The public pages do not currently use first-party advertising or audience-measurement cookies.
Google Forms
Some pages offer an optional embedded Google Form. The form is not loaded automatically. If you select “Load the Google Form”, your browser connects to Google and Google may set cookies such as NID, S, or COMPASS, receive your IP address and browser information, and process any answers you submit.
Your selection to load the form is the consent for that third-party content on the current page view. Selecting “Hide the form” removes the iframe from the page, and reloading the page returns it to the blocked state. Cookies already placed on Google’s domains must be managed through your browser or Google settings. You can avoid Google Forms entirely and contact PRELAB at contact@prelab.fr.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent login and authenticated service functions from working. Browser controls and Google’s own controls can be used for third-party cookies.
For questions or to exercise data-protection rights, see the privacy policy or email contact@prelab.fr.
